BREAKING: Unknown gunmen attack police station, kill two officers in Delta

Unknown gunmen at about 2 am Friday morning allegedly attacked Umutu Police Divisional Headquarters in Ukwuani Native Authorities Space of Delta State.

PRESS INFORMANT gathered that the Police Station was not burnt down however the gunmen succeeded in killing two Police constables who have been on responsibility on the time.

It was not clear if the gunmen carted away arms and ammunition from the police station.

It was learnt that the gunmen stormed the Neighborhood from Ndemili axis to wreak havoc on the Police Station.

When contacted for feedback at about 7:13 am, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali mentioned,”No feedback for now. I’m doing one thing for now.”

The Appearing Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Vivid Edafe didn’t decide telephone calls, neither did he reply to textual content messages despatched to him for affirmation of the report.

As on the time filings this report, there may be critical stress in Umutu neighborhood.
