75 injured in Kano filling station fire

Over 70 individuals have been injured in two completely different fireplace incidents that gutted al-ihsan filling station at Sharada Quaters in Kano State.

Commissioner of Works, Alhaji Garba Idriss Unguwar Rimi, confirmed the incident to newsmen.

He mentioned that the hearth began when a petroleum tanker caught fireplace whereas offloading gas on the station. He defined that the primary incident concerned 43 people who find themselves largely motorists and merchants dwelling across the space and likewise eight personnel of the hearth service.

Garba mentioned the second incident occurred on the identical filling station when one of many attendants opened a floor tank after the primary fireplace was quenched.

Nura Maigida, spokesman for the Federal Fireplace Service in Kano, confirmed the incident, and mentioned the victims have been rushed to hospital for medical consideration.
