Why Did Vince Foster Kill Himself?
On July 20, 1993, Park Police discovered Vince’s body in Fort Marcy Park off the George Washington Parkway in Virginia. He appeared to have self-inflicted a gunshot wound to the head.
According to reports, Foster was holding a gun. Foster died by shooting himself, according to an autopsy and subsequent investigation.
Autopsy reports showed that the attorney died by shooting himself in the mouth with a revolver found at the scene.
Further investigation revealed that Foster was devastated by the allegations and negative comments surrounding the White House Travel Office controversy.
The investigation also discovered that he had told his friends and colleagues that he was thinking about resigning but was afraid of being humiliated in public.
