She is currently in the news after red-tagging Vice President Leni Robredo and members of the progressive Makabayan bloc in Congress.
On Tuesday, January 6, Robredo gave a news conference and outlined her recommendations to boost the administration’s anti-narcotics campaign.
In her address, the vice president called for an end to “Oplan Tokhang,” or the house-to-house “knock and plead” operation organized by police against suspicious individuals.
Badoy retaliated against Robredo with a series of Facebook posts in which she slammed the vice president and urged her to “resign.” Badoy also called Robredo “incompetent” for allegedly impeding the government’s drug battle.
Similarly, a health worker union filed administrative and criminal complaints against anti-communist task force spokesman Lorraine Badoy.
A case was filed against her with the Office of the Ombudsman for associating the group with the communist armed movement.
On Monday, April 11, the Alliance of Health Workers (AHW) marched to the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) to submit charges.
The charges were against the government anti-communist task force (NTF-ELCAC) spokesman Lorraine. They also seek the immediate revocation of her physician license, according to Rappler.
