Simon Weston, a veteran army officer, is well-known for his charitable efforts and rehabilitation from severe burn injuries sustained during the Falklands War.

The Army veteran was raised by his mom, Pauline, and adoptive dad, Lofty. His biological dad, just like his mom, was a member of the Royal Air Force.

Helen is Simon’s older sister, and he has three stepbrothers. When he was 14, he was captured as a passenger in a car swiped by his older companions and received a police warning.

After getting into trouble, Weston enrolled in the Welsh Guards at the age of 16 at his mom’s request.
