John Drew was an American skilled basketball participant. A modest forward from Gardner-Webb College, he played eleven seasons in the Countrywide Basketball Association (NBA).

Drew was a two-time NBA All-Star, and was just one of the earliest casualties of the drug coverage instituted by the league commissioner, David Stern.

Drew battled cocaine habit throughout his experienced basketball profession.
