What does Grant Ward become?

Grant Douglas Ward is a fictional character who first appeared in Marvel Comics before making an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Dalton was named ‘Male Breakout Star’ at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards.

The character was developed by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen and was performed by Brett Dalton from the pilot episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in September 2013 to the fourth season in April 2017.

Grant Ward makes his comic book debut in All-New, All-Different Marvel Point One #1 (December 2015), written by Marc Guggenheim and German Peralta.

He is shown collaborating with Phil Coulson in infiltrating Gorgon’s Hydra.

What does Grant Ward become?

A Hydra double agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D. named John Garrett pays Grant a visit while he is in juvenile detention.

Grant is informed by Garrett that Christian is requesting to be tried as an adult and that his parents are filing criminal charges against him. Grant receives Garrett’s expert agent training.

When Hydra is made public and Grant is later assigned to Phil Coulson’s team, he is identified as such. After Garrett’s passing, Grant is taken prisoner by S.H.I.E.L.D.
