What Do Y’all Want From Me? Tell Me – Black Sherif Quizzes Emotionally

Black Sherif is certainly not happy about how his name has been attached with all the negative publicity in recent times, from his issues with his management and how his words are twisted in certain quarters premised on a recent interview he granted while in Nigeria.

Apparently, the 1st & 2nd Sermon rhymer had said during a radio interview in Nigeria that he feels safe in Lagos than in Accra. A tweep misinterpreted his statement to mean Lagos is safer than Accra.

The Twitter user, Bobbee retorted, ‘Black Sherif told a Nigerian YouTuber that Lagos is safer than Accra, wow.’ The post instantly caught his attention and without hesitation, the Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter provided a swift answer to set the record straight, saying;

Stop the cap, dude. I told Korty I can walk freely in Lagos cause nobody knows me there, and I can’t do the same in Accra cause I’m very famous here. That’s, literally, what I said, bro. What y’all want from me? Tell me.

Meanwhile, another throwback video detailing how Black Sherif has been knocking hard at the door of the mainstream entertainment industry for years has surfaced.

In this video, a skinny-looking Sherif back in his senior school days was seen leading prayers with his classmates by using Stonebwoy’s inspirational song, ‘Tomorrow’ to seek the throne of heaven for God’s favour.

He gave a wonderful rendition of the song with a nice voice which shows that beyond rapping, he can give the likes of KiDi and Kuaem Eugene a good run for their money. The latter part of the video also showed when he was spotted in a barbershop singing Kelvyn Boy’s ‘Mea’ song.
