A man has reportedly been apprehended by the police after he was captured on a CCTV camera trying to inject a salesgirl with a pesticide in her shop in Ogbomosho, Oyo state.

According to reports, the suspect who is yet to be identified entered the shop under the pretense to purchase a laptop from the shop but unknown to the salesgirl, the suspect had an ulterior motive.

After pretending to be on a phone call with someone, the suspect then brought out a liquid substance discovered to be a pesticide after investigation and attacked the salesgirl, dragging her to the other side of the shop where no one can see or hear her scream to carry out his mission.

However, the suspect has reportedly been nabbed by the police as further investigations are ongoing.

In other news, popular Ghanaian comedian and comic actor, Sadiq Sulley, well known as SDK Dele has taken to his social media to detail how his late father, Baba died after a viral comedy skit with the Ground Up rapper, Kwesi Arthur.

It would be vividly recalled that SDK took to his social media page to announce the demise of his late father, Mr. Francis Sule, aka Baba. The man was said to have passed away after a short illness at the hospital. He died on the 24th of November 2021.

The late Francis Sule who has featured in most of SDK’s comedy skit and even collaborated with him in a movie titled “Blue Film” was finally buried on 22nd January 2022.

Well, SDK has detailed how situations developed before the passing away of his beloved dad. In a tweet, the comic actor revealed that he was about to shoot a comedy skit with Kwesi Arthur when he had a call that his father had collapsed.
