Suspect Rode Bike Round Metropolis, Knifing Random Victims – Crime On-line

Quite a few folks have been injured in what seems to be a random stabbing spree in New Mexico on Sunday.

Accoding to the Related Press, 42-year-old Tobias Gutierrez is accused of stabbing 11 folks whereas he bicycled round Albuquerque on Sunday. Two of the victims are critically injured, and at the very least one of many victims was stabbed within the neck.

Police started receiving stories of apparently random stabbings at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday, and calls continued to come back in througout the afternoon from a number of places, together with a convnience retailer and the surface of a residence.

Nobody was killed within the assault, and authorities reportedly stated the critically injured victims are in steady situation, as are the opposite hospitalized victims, and all are anticipated to outlive.

Police spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos reportedy instructed KRQE that investigators imagine the stabbings are random.

“There doesn’t appear to be any rhyme or purpose at this level,” Gallegos stated.

It’s unclear if the suspect has been formally charged. The investigation is ongoing.
