Rochas Okorocha Advises Nigerians To Engage In Inter-Ethnic Marriages

The previous Imo State governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha has appealed to Nigerians to have interaction in inter-ethnic marriages as a way of selling peace and unity within the nation.

 

Rochas Okorocha  who was the chairman of an annual public lecture organised on Tradition and the Administration of Range in Nigeria by the Nationwide Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), mentioned inter-tribal marriage is a approach of constructing cross-cultural understanding amongst Nigerians.

 

Represented by Professor Sunny Ododo, the Normal Supervisor, Nationwide Theatre, on Thursday, October 7 in Kano state, Rochas Okorocha argued that with over 400 languages and over 200 ethnic teams, Nigerian’s cultural diversity was actually an asset .
