Preachers Should Pay Pentecost Tax – Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has suggested preachers in Nigeria to pay Pentecost Tax.

He spoke in Lagos on Friday throughout the public presentation of “Kumuyi, Defender of the Religion”.

The e book is a biography of Pastor Folorunsho Kumuyi, Founder and Common Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry.

Osinbajo stated individuals who succeed of their endeavours owe the society three types of taxes.

The VP defined that the primary is revenue taxes (private revenue tax), and company tax for firm homeowners.

The second, he famous, is a social tax or philanthropy, which is the duty of the rich to present again to society.

“The third tax is a civic tax; the duty of the profitable to write down their tales, to share the histories of the phenomena they’ve change into.

“However for the profitable preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, there’s the fourth tax, that is the Pentecost Tax”, he stated.

Osinbajo additional urged clergymen to inform the story of their missionary journeys, miracles, indicators, wonders, deprivations, fastings, and persecutions.
