Police Arrest Four Armed With Pump-Action Rifles, Charms At PDP Southwest Congress In Osun

Four suspected thugs armed with various rifles to cause havoc at the South-Western zonal congress of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) congress have been arrested by the men of the Osun Police Command.

Reports emerged that the suspected hoodlums were planning to interfere with the meeting of the PDP Zonal Congress in Osogbo on Sunday evening. Pump-action, charms and amulets were recovered from them.

Recall that the National Working Committee of the party rescheduled the meeting which was fixed for Ibadan to Osun State.

A source said;, “I cannot really say those behind the hoodlums.”

He said they were arrested at the convention venue with Pump-action and charms. I will brief you as events unfold,”

SP Yemisi Opalola of the Osun Police Command said that the suspects have been moved to the CID headquarters of the State for further investigations and would face full rigors of the law when they are found guilty.
