NYPD search for suspect who allegedly attacked trans girl outside high school

Police in New York Metropolis are looking for a suspect who allegedly attacked a 15-year-old transgender lady outdoors a Brooklyn highschool in broad daylight final month and hurled transphobic remarks at her.

The assault occurred in Jan. 18 round 3:15 p.m. outdoors the W. H. Maxwell Profession and Technical Training Excessive Faculty on Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York, police said.

The male suspect approached the 15-year-old lady and punched her within the face whereas making anti-transgender statements, in accordance with authorities.

The suspect’s alleged verbal assaults continued by way of a social media app following the assault, WABC-TV reported. 

The lady suffered minor accidents to her face, in accordance with the station.

The NYPD Hate Crimes tweeted a photograph of the suspect and requested anybody with details about the incident or the suspect to name the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
