The Narcotics Management Bureau (NCB) arrested a Nigerian nationwide in reference to the Mumbai cruise medication case on Wednesday. With this, the NCB has made a complete of 18 arrests within the case thus far.

Nigerian nationwide Chinedu Igwe was arrested from suburban Andheri in Mumbai. Forty tablets of ecstasy drug have been seized from his possession, an NCB official stated. He allegedly equipped medication on the celebration on the cruise ship.

Earlier, on the identical day, the NCB arrested Achit Kumar from suburban Powai. A small amount of “hydroponic weed alias multi-strain hashish” was seized from his possession, officers stated.

On Saturday, the NCB had performed a raid on the Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship off the coast of Mumbai. A rave celebration was allegedly going down on the ship and 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 drugs of MDMA (ecstasy) and Rs 1.33 lakh in money was seized through the raid.

Among the many 18 arrested thus far within the case is Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. On Thursday, Aryan Khan and 7 different accused have been despatched to 14-day judicial custody by a Mumbai court docket. The NCB’s plea for additional remand of the eight accused was rejected by the court docket.
