He was born to Eugene Laviscount, an Antiguan bodybuilder, and Sonia Laviscount, an Englishwoman. He went to Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe, where he received 10 GCSEs, and he was also a member of Carol Godby’s Bury theatre workshop.
Laviscount first appeared in an advertisement for Marks & Spencer when he was ten years old. He appeared in shows such as Clocking Off and Johnny and the Bomb before landing a regular role in BBC One’s Grange Hill.
Lucien Laviscount was then cast in Coronation Street as religious swimmer Ben Richardson. Laviscount appeared as Earl Grey in the first season of FOX’s horror comedy Scream Queens in 2015.
He appeared in Sony Crackle’s crime comedy-drama Snatch in 2017-18. Laviscount also portrayed Alexander Cabot in The CW’s Katy Keene.
Laviscount gained a global audience in 2021 as Alfie in Season 2 of the Netflix series Emily in Paris. In 2022, Laviscount starred as Jay in BBC 3-part comedy Peacock
