Love Is Not Enough To Keep Marriage – Tchidi Chikere Breaks Silence On Failed Marriage

Nigerian filmmaker and actor, Tchidi Chikere has finally broken his silence concerning his failed marriage with Nollywood actress Nuella Njugigbo.

The second marriage of the actor Tchidi with actress Nuella Njugigbo crashed a few months ago after popular Instagram blogger Cutie disclosed that the actor has turned his wife into a punching bag.

Blogger Cutie Juls also disclosed that Nuella has been confiding in some colleagues about her marital problems and how her husband has been maltreating her which makes it an ‘open secret’.

The filmmaker has taken to his Instagram page to list some of the discussions couples should engage in before agreeing to get married. According to him, people should not get married because they are in love because love is not enough.

Tchidi mentioned things which needed to be discussed including; parenting style, religion, sexual expectations, family health history, mental health history, and other important topics which need to be addressed before marriage.

He said: “Before you get married, discuss bills, parenting style, credit, religion, how to deal with family, what beliefs will be instilled into your children, childhood traumas, sexual expectations, partner expectations, financial expectations, family health history, mental health history, bucket list, dream homes careers and education. Political views and whatsoever comes to mind.

“Love is not enough.”
