Ebony’s mother stole all the show at her late daughter’s posthumous birthday party which was which is also dubbed Jollof rice party.

The party which is held on every February 16, tends to sustain Ebony’s legacy in the mainstream, having been the biggest female artist in Ghana until her untimely death despite her relatively short stint in the music industry.

Ebony Reigns died in a fatal accident that claimed the life of her friend, Franky Kuri and a military officer Atsu Vondee, who were all in a jeep with her whilst she returning from Sunyani to Accra.

A preliminary report by the police at that time the accident occurred near Abesewa in the Brong Ahafo after their car collided with an oncoming VIP bus, when their driver tried to avoid a heap of sand in their lane.

Fans and celebs were invited to the private event and it was a mixture of solemnity and celebration of life asEbony’s mother stole the show with her sleek moves. Ebony songs became the soundtrack on which the event was premised.

It looks like Stonebwoy’s eldest child Catherine Jidula Satekla has charted her own path as regards what she would do professionally when she grows up instead of filling her father’s overside shoes.

In a video uploaded on Instagram, Jidula is captured drawing and colouring an object on paper. Her curious mother Louisa, asked her whom she was drawing to which she responded she was drawing CJ- herself.

The mother asked again what exactly she was colouring at that moment and Jidula answered that she was colouring her hair. Louisa admired her daughter’s work and complimented her saying it is nice.

The little girl responded by saying: “uumhm”, which subtly means she’s aware her handiwork is beautiful.
