Lagos announces 10-week partial closure of Eko Bridge

The Lagos State Authorities has introduced the partial closure of Eko Bridge for emergency repairs, ranging from June 4 to August 13.

The state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, mentioned in an announcement that the restore of the Eko Bridge, from Costain to Alaka in-bound Nationwide Stadium, was vital to finish the rehabilitation works on the reverse facet of the bridge earlier embarked upon by the Federal Authorities.

Motorists are to take various routes through the interval of repairs.

Oladeinde requested motorists to pay attention to the diversion routes and adjust to directives from the State’s Site visitors Administration Personnel.

The commissioner urged motorists to bear the inconveniences, because the mission was aimed toward reaching a “seamless, secure and environment friendly transport system that might meet the transportation wants of a bigger inhabitants.”
