The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade 111 is lifeless.

Press Informant gathered from sources that the monarch joined his ancestors within the early hours of Sunday.

The dying of the monarch has not been introduced formally in response to sources within the city, however palace sources who requested to not be named, confirmed the dying of the monarch.

The monarch died on the age of 95.

He reigned for 48 years.

Our correspondent learnt that the monarch was born on Could twenty seventh 1926 in Ogbomoso.

Ogbomoso is the second largest city in Oyo State after Ibadan, the State capital.

The monarch was one of many sons of Oba Bello Afolabi Oyewumi.

He ascended the throne of his forefathers on October 24, 1973.

Particulars of his dying and burial are nonetheless scanty.
