Jason Allen Alexander was the first husband of Britney Spears.

Born October 16, 1981, Alexander is 40-years-old.

The pair tied the knot on January 4, 2004, at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, Alexander and Britney’s marriage was annulled 55 hours later, following a petition to the court that stated that Spears “lacked understanding of her actions”.

But, Alexander maintains that he didn’t want to split.

In July 2021, it was revealed that the 55-hours marriage ended because of Spears’ mother, Lynne.

What happened to Jason Alexander who married Britney Spears?

The 40-year-old was in Williamson County Jail in Franklin, Tennessee.

He was charged with a violation of an order of protection as well as aggravated stalking. His bond was set at $30,000.

According to the Us Weekly, Alexander was released from police custody on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, and a court hearing was scheduled for February 17.

This was not Alexander’s first case with the law.

Alexander was arrested for a DUI and drug possession after he was caught on January 6, 2021, Capitol Riots, and on August 2021, he was arrested at a Nashville airport for allegedly trespassing into the TSA’s “non-secure” area.
