Britney has two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston Federline, and Jayden James Federline.

Britney and Kevin met in 2004 and after three months of dating, the pair announced their engagement in July 2004 and got married in September in Studio City, California.

However, the pair divorced in March 2007.

Britney’s first son Sean was born on September 14, 2005, at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, California.

He appeared in the TV mini-series Britney & Kevin: Chaotic at barely a year old.

Sean Preston Federline is 16 years old as of 2021.

Britney’s second son, Jayden Federline was born on September 12, 2006, in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, and is now 15 years old.

Britney and Kevin’s relationship ended just a few months after Jayden was born.

In March 2020, Jayden shared private details about the family on an Instagram Live – unraveling that Britney apparently might quit music while lashing out at his grandfather Jamie Spears.

The singer lost custody of the two boys to Federline in 2007 after a breakdown that saw the distressed star shave her head before attacking a photographer’s car with an umbrella.

A judge granted full custody to Federline, much to Britney’s distress.

In 2008, Britney was then arrested after locking herself in a bathroom with Jayden, who was one year old at the time.

The former couple subsequently agreed on a shared 50-50 custody of their boys.

But, Britney lost more visitation rights due to a brawl between their son Sean Preston and his grandfather Jamie.

According to reports, Federline now has 70 percent custody of both children while the singer gets 30 percent of unsupervised custodial rights.

Britney has been paying her former partner Kevin $20,000 a month in child support as well as their children’s tuition and school costs, TMZ reports.

She has also been paying for their clothing, extracurricular activities, and many other expenses to the tune of almost $35,000 per month.
