“I Went On A Date With A Guy And He Told Me He Can’t Pay For What I Ate” – Lady Shares Date Experience

The debate as to who should pay the bills during a date still lingers on as men and women argue out defending their claims from their perspectives.

Whilst some men admit they are supposed to take care of all the bills during a date when they go for dinner or lunch together, some strongly opine that it is a shared responsibility and it takes well cultured and discerning women to own up and pay for their food or better yet pay for her man as well.

In this interesting narration by a Nigerian lady identified as Jane and uses the handle @Janethelady, she shared an unbelievable experience she had on a date with a man.

Jane revealed that after they had finished eating at a restaurant during their date, the man blatantly refused to pay for her for as he only paid for himself.

According to her, that she only ate a plate of fish pepper soup, grilled chicken, and one plate of rice. She also agreed to take a bottle of cold water and one drink.

“Went on a date with this guy and he legit told me that he can’t pay for what I ate, who does that???”

She added;

”For those asking what I ate, I ate only one plate of fish pepper soup, grilled chicken, one plate of rice, I took one bottle water and one drink. Is that too much?”
