Four bandits killed as police repel attack in Katsina

A bandit assault at Dangeza village, Batsari Native Authorities Space of Katsina state has been repelled by cops.

The state police spokesperson, SP Gambo Isah additionally revealed that 4 bandits have been killed whereas others fled into the forest with various levels of gunshot wounds.

”On Wednesday, at about 16:30hrs, DPO of Batsari led a crew of police personnel to Dangeza village, Batsari and efficiently repelled bandits on a heinous mission.

“The crew engaged the hoodlums in a fierce gun battle. The dogged, unusual braveness and tactical operational technique adopted by the police made the bandits to flee into the forest with various levels of gunshot wounds.

“In the midst of profiling the scene, 4 corpses and three bikes have been recovered.”
