Enugu Commissioner for Land tenders his resignation after his subordinates were removed from office ‘for doing their jobs’

The Commissioner for Lands in Enugu state, Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam, has resigned his place.

In a press release he launched on his social media web page, Nnam stated he resigned after his subordinates have been faraway from workplace for ”merely doing their jobs diligently”.

His assertion reads

”Might I exploit this medium to tell my household, mates, associates, nicely wishers and the the Common Public, that I’ve resigned my appointment because the Commissioner for Lands Enugu State.

The rationale for my resignation is because of the removing of the PROFESSIONAL HODs UNDER ME ON PUNITIVE GROUND FOR SIMPLY DOING THEIR JOBS DILIGENTLY. As a technocrat and a HUMAN with CONSCIENCE, I CANNOT CONTINUE TO SERVE THE GOVERNMENT WHILE THOSE INNOCENT PROFESSIONALS ARE PUNISHED FOR DOING THEIR WORK.
