Christel Heydemann on course to become next Orange CEO – sources

PARIS (Reuters) – Orange, France’s largest telecoms operator, is on the right track to call Christel Heydemann because the group’s new chief government, making her the primary lady to guide the previous monopoly amid a full revamping of its governance, two sources near the matter mentioned on Sunday.

The board of Orange, on which Heydemann has sat since 2017, is scheduled to satisfy on Friday to formally appoint her as the brand new boss, the sources added.

Heydemann, who at the moment heads European operations at French electrical gear group Schneider Electrical, was not instantly accessible for touch upon Sunday.
