Of Oakmont, previously of Penn Hills on Saturday, February 12, 2022, age 85. Beloved wife of the late John F. Crain, Jr.; loving mom of Sean F. Crain (Cheryl) and Anne C. Strout (Stephen); proud grandmother of Catherine “Catie” Devine (Christopher), Paige Strout and Norah Strout; daughter of the late John and Nora McNally; sister of Thomas McNally (the late Joan), and the late Eileen Massaro (survived by Frank) and Michael McNally (survived by Ranney); sister-in-law of the late Mary Jane Egan (Robert), Nancy Egan (Raymond), Margaret “Peggy” Brady (Laurence), and Dorothy Crain; additionally survived by nieces and nephews. Catherine grew up in Homewood, later shifting to Morningside, earlier than settling in Penn Hills. Mates acquired at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Residence, 6214 Walnut Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday, 2 to eight pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will he held in St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church on Thursday at 10 am.
