Brett Maher Children: Who Are Brett Maher Children?: Brett Maher is an American football player born in Kearney, Nebraska, United States to Brian Maher and Peggy Maher on November 21, 1989.

He developed a love for American football at an early age and attended Centennial Public Schools in Utica, Nebraska before transferring to Kearney High School, where he played high school football for the Bearcats.

As a senior, he made 8-of-14 field goals, 41 of 46 extra points, and averaged 41.1 yards per punt. Brett also played wide receiver, posting 775 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns hence receiving All-state honors from the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald at the end of the season.

As a redshirt freshman and as a sophomore, he appeared in all games as the holder for field goals and extra points, while also serving as the backup punter behind Alex Henery.

Brett has risen through the ranks to be one of the most sought-after American football players. He has been a member of the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Washington Commanders, Arizona Cardinals, Ottawa Redblacks, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Cleveland Browns, among others.

Brett Maher is currently the placekicker for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. On January 16, 2023, he missed 4 of 5 extra point attempts during the Cowboys’ Wild Card Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
