Audrey Hepburn was an actress, fashion icon, and philanthropist who was born in Belgium on May 4th, 1929. She starred in the Broadway production of Gigi at age 22. Two years later, she starred in the film Roman Holiday (1953) with Gregory Peck. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Roman Holiday.

She received UNICEF’s International Danny Kaye Award for Children in 1988 in recognition of her humanitarian work.
