Mike Guirguis, former manager of Chris Brown has assured music lovers and fans of Wizkid that his next album is going to be off the hook.

The album which is reportedly titled, ‘More Love Less Ego’ is going to etch its name into the record books as one of the best times. Mike this emphatic statement in a post he shared on Twitter which came along with a photo he snapped together with the Nigerian Afrobeat superstar.

The talent manager gave Wizkid FC a heads up as he asked them to stay tuned for when the album is released. He wrote; ”My brother @wizkidayo new album is beyond EPIC! Stay tuned…🖤 🦅

In a related development, King Promise has put up a strong defense for his friend Wizkid over his loss to Angelique Kidjo at the recently held Grammy Awards where the Best Global Music Album literally slipped through his hands and fell on the knees of the Beninese legend.

The foregoing dominated the major discourse on social media, especially on the Nigerian landscape of the internet where loyal fans of Starboy slammed Angelique Kidjo and the Grammy award for undermining their credibility.

In view of this, Ghanaian artiste King Promise has said his Nigerian colleague and bestie Wizkid undoubtedly should have walked home with the coveted plaque.

“I just think it’s wack. No disrespect, Angelique Kidjo, legend. I love and respect her but I just think what I think, innit? Like everyone has an opinion. I don’t know what else he has to do. You know what I mean, this guy [Wizkid] has been a pacesetter,” he said in the interview with Beat FM in Nigeria.

In the same vein, Wizkid’s fans are still spinning conspiracy theories and abusing other rival fans over the musician’s failure to grab two awards at the recently held 64th Grammy Awards after gaining two nominations in two categories.

One such Starboy FC theorist (name of Wizkid’s fanbase) has claimed the boss of 30 Billion Gang, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido paid the Recording Academy to deprive his rival and compatriots, Wizkid of a Grammy Award.

She made the bizarre claim in a video while sitting in a car with her friends and when they tackled her for making the unsubstantiated claim, she insisted that Davido paid the Grammy organizers money to give the ‘Best Global Music Album’ award to Angelique Kidjo.
