In a candid interview with Logan Paul on Impulsive that was released on June 1, Liam Payne discussed the recent news surrounding Zayn his former bandmate about the story that he allegedly shoved Gigi Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, into a dresser after a heated dispute.

Liam openly said that while he would always ‘dislike’ Zayn, there are various reasons why he will always support his estranged pal after the pair spent six years touring the world together with their other bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson.

Liam went on to shed light on Zayn’s reportedly difficult upbringing, suggesting that Zayn did not have a good upbringing and that affected his life.

“If I had to go through what he did, with his growth and everything else. “You can always look at the dude and say, ‘Oh yeah, whatever, that guy’s a d***.’” But, at the end of the day, you have to comprehend what he went through to get to that point, as well as whether or not he wanted to be there.

Liam concluded the interview by implying that he had reached out to Zayn to give help during the chaos but Zayn has yet to contact his former bandmate.
