‘We Have Good Policemen In Nigeria’ – Reactions As Policeman Returns Lost Wallet With Its Content Intact
Sergeant Samson, a Nigerian mobile police officer, has been praised for returning a lost wallet to its owner with all of its contents untouched.
Eons Intelligence, a Twitter blog, tweeted a photo of the Nigerian police and Lukman Abaja, the wallet’s owner, stating that the officer discovered the wallet, which included cash, ATM cards, and other valuable stuff, and brought it back with everything intact.
Samson is alleged to have gone to Lukman’s bank in the hopes of locating him, but after returning the wallet, he chose to ignore any form of reward. Eons Intelligence also encouraged people to congratulate him on his accomplishment.
”Let’s celebrate a good @PoliceNG Mobile Police Sgt Samson (08037322776) who found a lost wallet containing cash, ATM & valuables. He made all possible efforts including approaching the bank to reach the owner Lukman Abaja & return while refusing to accept tip or reward,
We have many good Policemen and celebrating them will help to change the narratives. The good ones are more than the bad eggs. #GoodPolicemen,” the tweet reads.
