The match which will be played in Kumasi has garnered some varied views as both supporters of Ghana and Nigeria have bragged about who will win the match.

The match has renewed the rivalry between the two countries with Ghana seeking to make it to the world cup for the fourth time having qualified for 2006, 2010, and 2014 editions.

The Ghanaian team has come under several criticisms and this was evident after their abysmal performance at the 2021 AFCON tournament played in Cameroon.
