US-Based Ghanaian Commits Suicide After Suffering Depression From Losing His Loving Wife

A Ghanaian man who lives in the United States has reportedly committed suicide after his dear wife died.

According to Ghbase.com, the deceased known as Nana Edd ended his own life after months of battling depression following her wife’s death.

We gathered that after Nana Edd’s wife, Shamperia passed on, he shared suicidal posts on social media suggesting he was contemplating suicide due to the pain from the loss.

His friends, despite, giving signs of doing the unthinkable did not take his posts seriously as they thought he was still mourning Shamperia and had not gotten over the loss until the news about his death.

On March 11, 2020, Nana Ed posted this on social media;
“Guys I am checking out today. I love you all, I will see you all the loved ones someday. The love is deep, my wife is waiting, I’m happy to reunite.”

Earlier on February 18, 2022, he posted this;

“Please help me bring back my dear wife home and my son. I have lost the love of my life. May God help me stay strong because I don’t know how I’m going to live this life alone with my son. Rest In Peace my dear wife, you will always be my true love and no one can replace that. I love you.

In other news, Purity, first child, and daughter of Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson has been captured in a loved-up photo with Wizkid’s so Boluwatife.

Purity Johnson and Boluwatife Balogun bumped into each other in the United Arab Emirates, as they are both representing their school at the World Games Event.

A photo shared on Mercy Johnson’s page on Instagram shows the youngsters enjoyed each other’s company. Purity was also pictured in a pose with her father, Prince Okojie who also made the trip to Dubai to support her in the sporting event.

The two celebrity kids wore a broad smile clad in matching outfits for the camera and significantly new friendship births.

Sharing the images, Mercy jokingly wrote; “The ojoro that happens in this house ️ ehh @princeodiokojie and Purity in Dubai….I can’t believe she picked her dad over me infact Henry and I are making our trip next.”
