UNIJOS Alumni Reunite And Share Passionate Hug With Their Mentally Challenged Coursemate (VIDEO)

A video making rounds online has warmed the hearts of many Nigerians and at the same time put many to tears.

This video is about dozens of alumni of the University of Jos who reunited with a former classmate Hilary Minabelem. According to reports, Hilary Minabelem became mentally challenged on the eve of his Master’s degree defence.

His former classmates traveled from Abuja to Rivers State, where they discovered him in Bakana. The coursemates couldn’t contain their delight as they hugged him and joked with him. They then transported him to a psychiatric facility in Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, for treatment. The alumni chipped up N320,000 to get him admitted to a private facility for treatment.

They also purchased new clothing for him.
