WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Pentagon is predicted to announce Wednesday that U.S. troops will deploy within the coming days after President Joe Biden formally accepted extra U.S. army deployments to jap Europe, a U.S. official instructed Reuters.
Biden has directed greater than 3,000 U.S. troops to deploy to bolster European allies, the Wall Road Journal reported.
About 2,000 American troops will deploy from the USA to Poland and Germany and about 1,000 will reposition from Germany to Romania, the Journal stated.
The Pentagon has this week advised that troop actions may come from inside Europe.
