Two Arrested ForAllegedly Defiling 11-Months Old Baby & 3 Other Minors In Anambra State
Two Nigerian men identified as Peter Ezeala and Elochukwu Igwilo, aged 61 and 27 respectively have reportedly been arrested by the operatives of the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly defiling an 11-months-old baby as well as three other minors.

The incident was said to have happened at Umudim Nnewi-North Local Government Area of the state. The arrest was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Anambra Police command DSP Ikenga Tochi on Monday 21st March 2022.
A statement released by the police command reads; ”The Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng today 21/3/2022 has admonished parents/guardians to be careful of who they leave the custody of their children/wards, following the outcome of the investigation of 4 children rescued by police operatives on a reported case of defilement in Umudimi, Nnewi.
The statement further revealed that the mother of the victims has always been leaving her kids in the care of the two suspects when she is going to work but it was unknown to her that the suspects have been capitalizing on this to take advantage of the kids.
The two suspects have reportedly been remanded in a Correctional Services Centre as the case was adjourned.
