Elon Musk‘s first son, Nevada Alexander Musk, was born on May 18, 2002, and died 10 days later on May 28, 2002.

Reason Behind the Death of Nevada Alexander Musk

Nevada Alexander Musk, is said to have died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), which is described as a newborn’s death that occurs suddenly and without apparent cause. SIDS has no established cause, but many studies believe it could be caused by a variety of factors.

These include brain abnormalities, low birth weight, respiratory sickness, and various sleep-related issues.

The death of their kid affected the Musks hard, as it would anyone who has lost a child, Elon and Justine got back on their feet after being knocked down. Elon had twin son’s later in 2004, named Griffin and Xavier Musk.

Effect of first child’s death

Today, not many might know that Nevada had died just as the eBay deal was announced. Undoubtedly, the loss of the child took a toll on the Musks.

And within the next five years, Justine gave birth to twins and then triplets.
