Troops Neutralise,Kills 1, Captures 1, As Biafra National Guard Attack Army Post In Abia

Troops of the Nigerian Military have neutralised one of many Biafra Nationwide Guard (BNG) fighters who attacked troopers in Abia State.

The agitators had stormed a publish manned by troops at Amaekpu in Ohafia Native Authorities Space on Thursday.

Director, Military Public Relations, Brigadier Common Onyema Nwachukwu narrated the ambush in a press release.

He mentioned the closely armed assailants invaded the situation in various autos and fired bullets.

Troops returned hearth, killed one, whereas others fled, leaving their autos. One pump motion gun, amongst others had been recovered on the scene.

Those that escaped had been later intercepted at Eda by troopers of Ahead Working Base (FOB) Ohaozara in Ebonyi State.

“The troops recovered further three autos and apprehended one of many gunmen”, Nwachukwu added.
