Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes are disappointed at the moment over lack of suitors for the 37-year-old.

Ronaldo has reportedly made his desire to leave Old Trafford known to the club’s hierarchy and has continued to struggle in his search for Champions League football next season.

Reports in Europe suggests there are currently no suitors for the football icon.

Transfer reporter, Alex Crook told talkSPORT, “The latest is that clubs are not queuing up to sign Ronaldo as him and Jorge Mendes expected.

“I do believe the version coming out of his camp, I don’t think this is about money, I think he wants to play in the Champions League.

“Egotistically, I don’t think he can stomach that Messi will be playing Champions League football and he’ll be in the Europa League.

“But, at the moment, he doesn’t have an escape route. I was told Sporting Lisbon on loan was a possibility, but that hasn’t kicked on.

“Apart from that, the likes of PSG, Bayern Munich, Chelsea – clubs he believed would be interested – are not coming to the table.”
