Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid seems to have always been vocal about not being moved by being nominated or winning awards.
A throwback video of Wizzy’s interview with British supermodel, Naomi Campbell, where he said he does not care about awards, has resurfaced on social media.

This comes after the Starboy lost two Grammy nominations, both for his song, Essence and Made In Lagos album.
In the interview, Wizkid said he does not care if he is nominated because what matters to him is knowing that his songs touch people.
