The Chainsmokers are again.
To catch you up: The DJ duo, comprised of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, introduced in February 2020 that they had been occurring a social media hiatus and “taking a while to create our subsequent chapter in music,” deleting each submit on their official Instagram account web page excluding their assertion. Since then, the pair have largely saved quiet about their life—till not too long ago when movies starring two males who seemed just like Alex and Drew started popping up on The Chainsmokers’ verified TikTok web page.
One of many posts featured the 2 look-alikes reacting to a video with with the hashtag “conspiracy” posted by TikTok consumer @SUGENE, who joked in it that Alex and Pall “underwent quite a lot of cosmetic surgery” throughout their hiatus and now “look utterly completely different.” The Chainsmokers’ account wrote in response, “Why would we mess with perfection?”
In the meantime, one other video confirmed the doppelgängers responding to a declare that it could be “simple” for The Chainsmokers to get replaced with physique doubles since they “seem like simply two common white guys.” The band’s account replied, “This conspiracy principle is unnecessary.”
