Teyana Me Shay Jacqueli Shumpert (née Taylor; born December 10, 1990) is an American singer, actress, dancer, choreographer, and model. In 2005, she signed a record deal with Pharrell Williams’ Star Trak Entertainment imprint, before making her first national appearance on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16.

Teyana and Iman first met in 2014 and both bonded over their recent break-ups. Iman Asante Shumpert ( born June 26, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who is a free agent. Shumpert was selected by the New York Knicks with the 17th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. He won an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

The pair have two daughters: Iman Tayla “Junie” Shumpert Jr and Rue Rose Shumpert. Junie Shumpert was born on December 16, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia, and Rue was born on September 8, 2020.

Junie has a huge, lovable personality, and according to footage from September 2018, it appears that Junie may follow in her mama’s performer’s footsteps. During Teyana’s show in Seattle, a then-2-year-old Junie took the stage and absolutely stole the show — she even grabbed the mic and walked to the front of the stage while singing so that she could wave to her adoring fans.
