Keep away from Kano metropolis – Police warns okada riders

The command reiterated that the ban on industrial bikes within the state’s metropolis stays in place.

In an announcement issued by the spokesman of the Kano Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, directed all Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) inside Kano metropolis to proceed to implement the ban.

It added;

“Any particular person or group that violates this ban shall be arrested and prosecuted earlier than the courtroom of legislation. Highway customers are suggested to abide by visitors guidelines and rules.”
