Singer Omah Lay arrested in Uganda

Nigerian singer Omah Lay has been arrested by the Uganda police following his music concert in Uganda.

According to reports, the singer was arrested by Katwe Police in Uganda along side the Manager of the venue identified as Dungu Ivan and the events manager Prim Kasana are also in custody. The singer is allegedly accused of performing in a large congregation which is the against the COVID-19 guideline in Uganda.

The concert took place on Saturday after the singer and organizers was warned from performing at the concert.
