Sekondi-Takoradi MCE Arrested For Dangerous Driving & Alleged Assault On A Police Officer

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of the Metropolitan Chief Government of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Meeting (STMA), Hon. Abdul-Mumin Issah.

The service confirmed this in a latest assertion launched on their verified social media handles the place it was revealed that the arrest turned very needed after the MCE allegedly assaulted a police officer who confronted him for harmful driving.

Confirming the arrest, the police wrote;

Sekondi-Takoradi MCE arrested for harmful driving and alleged assault on a Police Officer.
Mr. Abdul-Mumin Issah, the Hon. MCE for Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Meeting has been arrested by the Western Regional Police Command at this time, Thursday, third February 2022, for an alleged motor visitors offence, verbal assault and offensive conduct towards a Police Officer who was performing his lawful obligation.”
