Sebastian Stan & Lily James ‘Never Really Saw Each Other Outside of Character’ While Filming ‘Pam & Tommy’

Sebastian Stan and Lily James took filming Pam & Tommy very critically!

Forward of the premiere of their new Hulu sequence, the duo stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Stay! on Tuesday evening (February 1) to speak about remodeling into Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, with Lily revealing they “by no means actually noticed one another exterior of character.”

“It’s true. I texted Lily early on, I stated, ‘Pay attention, I’m scared s–tless, and I’m gonna want to carry your hand, and if you wish to maintain mine, we’re right here, we’re on this collectively,’” Sebastian stated. “After which I didn’t see her exterior of Pamela till the tip of the shoot.”

They then went on to share how “terrified” they each have been to play such an iconic couple.

I believe we have been each simply terrified to play these characters. They’re real-life folks,” Sebastian defined. “I don’t have tattoos on my physique. I believe we each would simply, on repeat, hearken to their voices and their interviews. And — I do know we each did this — we’d truly scream into pillows in between the scenes as a result of I used to be attempting to get my voice raspy to sound like him, and also you have been doing that too. So I used to be like, ‘You’re screaming right into a pillow as properly?!’ ”

Lily added, “I believe everybody thought we have been actually shedding our minds in our trailers!”
