Say Yes To The Dress: Why is Kayla getting frustrated with her bridal entourage in Episode 2?

Say Yes to the Dress, Season 20 on TLC, came back with a brand-new episode that was very exciting. Kayla, who was 30 years old, went to Kleinfeld with her mother and uncle to find her dream wedding dress.

The only problem was that the bride and her party had different ideas about what the best costume should be. Kayla wanted a fit-and-flare dress, but her uncle and mother both wanted ballgowns.

Is Anyone Even Listening to Me?, the second episode of Say Yes to the Dress, showed Kayla on the verge of crying because her uncle and mother were so determined to see her in a Disney dress.

Her uncle told her that after meeting with their consultant, he set up an online account and added about 14 dresses for his niece.

Kayla agreed that her uncle could be convincing, but when she saw the Say Yes to the Dress consultant bring over ballgowns, she wondered if anyone was even listening to her. But that wasn’t the end of the drama. When her group threatened to take over her appointment, things got even worse.

Kayla told the consultant during her confession that she was worried that her uncle had talked the consultant into a ballgown. They chose a big dress for her first dress.

Kayla said that it looked great for a young bride based on how much fabric it had. She said that since she is 30 years old, she wanted something that fit better.

The bride from “Say Yes to the Dress” walked out of the dressing room wearing the Disney dress, which shocked her uncle and mother. They liked the dress a lot, but she didn’t. Even though she told her uncle that she couldn’t walk in it, they didn’t listen.

At this point, it was clear that Kayla was getting angry. During her confession, she said that she was getting angry because she felt like no one was listening to her, even though she was the bride.

On the other hand, her uncle said that the dress had the “wow” factor that he was looking for. Kayla fought back by saying that it would be a big deal if she passed out at the wedding, which would be hot because it was in July.

Kayla was adamant that the next dress she tried on was a fit-and-flare style that she loved. When she walked out, her mother and uncle laughed, which wasn’t the reaction she was hoping for. After seeing that her group wasn’t happy with her fit-and-flare dress, Kayla said that, since she was a people-pleaser, she might be taking on some of their traits. She went back to the fitting room to try on one last ballgown, saying that if she didn’t like it, she would choose a fit-and-flare dress instead.

The Say Yes to the Dress stylist put Kayla in a beautiful ballgown that wasn’t too heavy but had a long, glittery train and a beautiful lace cutout on the side.

Kayla told her uncle and mother that she loved the dress, but that she had to play it down because they would get too excited.

When she came out of the dressing room, her uncle started crying as soon as he saw her. Even her mother was amazed by the dress. Kayla told her group that she liked the dress, but that she still wanted to try on a fit-and-flare one.

The consultant finally had a sudden idea and put Kayla in a sparkly fit-and-flare dress from head to toe that she fell in love with. She suggested that since the family didn’t have any money, they could get the ballgown for the ceremony and the other one for the reception. This way, everyone would come out ahead.
