Sacha Baron Cohen is an English actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He was born on October 13, 1971 in Hammersmith, London. Cohen is best known for his creation and portrayal of the fictional satirical characters Ali G, Borat Sagdiyev, Brüno Gehard, and Admiral General Aladeen. In 2021, Cohen was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Abbie Hoffman in The Trial of the Chicago 7.

Cohen attended an independent school called ‘The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys School’ in Elstree, Hertfordshire. He studied history at the University of Cambridge.
