Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has tackled Nigerians who are indulging in the celebration of the April Fool’s day.
The first day of April is celebrated by many cultures however it’s origin remains a mystery. It is widely known that on this day, practical jokes and hoaxes are played on people and they expose their actios by shouting “April Fools” at their recipients.
According to Reno, there are more pressing issues Nigerians should be dealing with other than celebrating April fool’s day. He made mention about seven soldiers who were killed by terrorists on the Abuja-Kaduna road. Other Nigerians were also killed however it doesn’t seem to be a pressing matter for Nigerians.
He condemned the celebration of April fool’s day by Nigerians saying there is a disaster in the presidential abode and they ought to be highly concerned.
He wrote;
7 soldiers killed on Abuja-Kaduna road yesterday by terrorists. Last night, they invaded Abuja. They also killed an unknown number of people in Southern Kaduna. And Nigerians are doing April Fool? Is there a greater April Fool on Earth than the disaster in Aso Rock?
